The Cenegenics® Elite Health Evaluation

Our Elite Evaluation is comprehensive, effective and trusted by doctors and patients alike. It’s comprised of state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, specially certified physicians and in-depth one-on-one care.

The Elite Health Baseline

This program doesn’t resemble anything that a primary care physician’s office can offer. It won’t be a quick sit down appointment, where a couple questions are asked and a few boxes are checked off. Cenegenics® is concierge medicine at it’s finest and our patients are also clients-- we aim to provide an experience, not a process.

Our doctors are hand picked from a rigorous and demanding year long certification. Only 1% of those who enter our program are awarded certification. We are extremely selective through this process, it’s just one component of what clearly sets us apart as the leader in age management medicine.

This full-day evaluation is a complete look into your health and how your body currently affects your overall daily performance. It will be intriguing, hopeful and eye opening. We look at everything from finding underlying issues to testing biomarkers for stroke prevention. This is the complete package to getting in the best shape and mindset of your life.

Components of the Elite Health Evaluation

Overall Health and Fitness:
Hormonal and Metabolic Assessment

An expanded panel of blood work assesses your hormonal and metabolic profile, from standard tests such as blood sugar and cholesterol, to an in depth evaluation of your hormonal status along with important cardiac and inflammatory markers.

These panels of blood work identify your current hormonal levels and how your metabolism is functioning. This also includes cholesterol, blood sugar levels and important inflammatory markers which can help us identify underlying issues.

Beginning as young as 25-- hormones like DHEA, thyroid and others begin to diminish at varying rates. Over time, if this is neglected it can result in chronic underlying health issues. Bringing up low hormone levels can increase sex drive, improve mental outlook, increase mental clarity, boost energy levels, strength, stamina and so much more.

Artery Health:
Carotid Intima Media Thickness (CIMT)

Every 39 seconds heart disease claims another life-- an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of treatment. Through our advanced, non-invasive CIMT testing process we can assess how much plaque build up there is and the best methods of corrections.

Due to the overwhelming number of people afflicted with heart disease every year-- it’s never too early to start prevention. A few simple changes could prevent a heart attack or stroke from ever happening. To learn more about CIMT testing please visit:

Body Fat Analysis:
Body Composition

Your body composition is accurately determined using state of the art GE Lunar Prodigy. Body fat can be complicated and hard to measure. Sure, there’s lots of ways to do it. Calipers, bio-impedance, the circumference method and the list goes on. The problem is-- these aren’t accurate. Each time you measure, you will register a different body fat percentage. Our state-of-the-art GE Lunar Prodigy technology not only allows us to accurately measure your body fat percentage, but muscle mass as well.

No one wants to be overweight, but more importantly than aesthetics are the health risks associated with increased fat storage. Everything from cancer and stroke to heart attack and sleep apnea are significantly increased.

A lot of people don’t particularly look overweight, but can still have a build up of fat around their organs. This is sometimes known as dangerous fat and naturally increases the risk of disease. Your body composition can reveal a lot about your overall health.

Bone Health:
Bone Density Testing

Many people suffer from loss of bone density, also known as osteopenia or osteoporosis. This is common in both men and women. Over time, bones become thinner, weaker and more susceptible to fractures and even breaks. Hip fractures have been known to severely affect quality of life and even be life-threating. It’s paramount to know where you stand in the health of your bones. The sooner you know what’s going on, the sooner you can prevent a possible fracture or break.

Memory and Brain Function:
Cognitive Testing

Your mind is what allows you to make important snap decisions everyday. Cognitive function starts to slow and become cloudy with age. Occasional “brain fog” doesn’t have to be the new normal-- our Cenegenics® Elite Program can bring your laser like focus and “sharp as a tack” performance back again. See the sample test results below:

CNS Vital Signs
Domain Scores Subject Score Standard score % Percentile
Composite Memory 90 85 16%
Processing Speed 57 113 81%
Executive Function 60 121 92%
Reaction Time* 606 110 75%
Complex Attention* 3 112 79%

Cardiovascular health:
Fitness Assessment

VO2 Testing is generally considered the best indicator of cardiovascular fitness and aerobic endurance. This test provides a baseline to track your cardiovascular fitness. Perhaps more importantly, it determines your optimal heart rate training zones.

Being able to climb up a flight of stairs shouldn’t leave you winded, nor should going on a family hike leave you out of breath. As your body ages, your hearts max capacity to pump blood goes down. Through our VO2 testing we can see where your cardiac fitness is and where it needs to be improved.

Simply using heart rate tables on exercise machines or trying to take your own pulse while running are not only ineffective, they leave out many important diagnosis points that influence your overall health.

Many people feel a lack of balance or coordination as they get older. We measure your strength, balance, coordination and flexibility. All of these play a critical role in keeping you loose and functional to prevent injury and enjoy every part of your life. As long as your making simple corrections-- there’s no need to give anything up because you’ve had a few more birthdays.

Nutrition and Exercise Counseling

Eating the right foods can be nearly impossible when you don’t know what they are. There is a new fad diet out every month and a new “dangerous” food that will supposedly make you gain weight.

What if some of the foods that you thought were bad, were actually good for your unique body? What if some of the foods that you have been told are good, were actually causing you chronic inflammation? There is no one-size fits all when it comes to nutrition and exercise.

Having access to a personal nutrition and exercise coach is the only way to understand how your body reacts to certain foods and exercises. Because a change in diet may influence strength, stamina, or overall performance in the gym-- it’s advantageous to have a nutrition and exercise coach who can work together to design, implement and update your lifestyle program.
